Install & activate

1. Run the installer

Double-click KernelFlux-1.0.0-installer.exe. Windows may warn you the publisher isn't recognized — click More info → Run anyway. The installer drops the VST3 into C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\ and (optionally) the Standalone exe into Program Files\KERNEL Audio\FLUX\.

2. Rescan plugins in your DAW

Cubase, Ableton, FL, Reaper, Studio One, etc. all need a quick plugin rescan before they'll see FLUX. In Cubase: Studio → VST Plug-in Manager → Re-Scan. In Ableton: Preferences → Plug-Ins → Rescan.

3. Launch FLUX — the License dialog appears

If you have a license key: paste it in (format FLUX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) and click Activate. Each license is good for 2 machines (main rig + laptop).

If you're trying FLUX: click Start 14-day Trial. Your machine registers with our server (you need internet for this first launch only) and you get a fully-functional 14 days. After that, audio output mutes until you enter a license.

4. Make sounds

Load a preset from the dropdown (BASS / PAD / LEAD sections), or start from INIT and build your own. Right-click any control to map it to your MIDI controller — mappings persist globally per controller layout, so they follow your gear, not your patches.

Trouble?

Lost your license email?

If you bought FLUX and can't find the email, head to the resend page and enter your purchase email. We'll re-send the key.

"Activation limit reached"?

Each license includes 2 activations. If you've used both and need to install on a new machine (old laptop died, etc.), contact support with your license key and we'll bump your activation count.

Something else?

Contact support. Include your license key (if applicable), your DAW + version, and as much detail as you can about what's not working.
